The Room Reservation Fee payment system is down for nightly maintenance between approximately 12:30 am - 1:30 am Eastern Standard Time.


The following credit cards are accepted for the Room Reservation Fee:

The 2.5% convenience fee is waived for payment of the Room Reservation Fee.
Note: VISA cards are accepted for the Room Reservation Fee only. The University does not accept VISA for fee bill payments.

Important Details

  • The Room Reservation Fee (RRF), is a pre-payment for housing, and is not an additional fee. The fall RRF is credited to the fall housing fee. The spring RRF is credited to the spring housing fee.
  • Only students who have received payment instructions can pay.
  • Payments must be made by the deadline listed in the payment instructions.
    • The Room Reservation Fee is posted on the Bursar fee bill after the fee has been paid.

  • In person at the Storrs Campus Office of the Bursar
    Wilbur Cross Building, 1st Floor
    Cash, check or money order accepted

    In person payments can only be made at the Storrs Campus Office of the Bursar. Payments made at a regional campus Bursar office will not be credited to the Room Reservation Fee.
  • By Mail to the Department of Residential Life
    • Check/money order made payable to "University of Connecticut"
    • Must be postmarked by payment deadline
    • Include student’s full name, 7-digit student ID number and "Room Reservation Fee" on payment for accurate crediting
