Fall 2022 Arrival Information
We are excited to have you living on-campus at UConn. Specific arrival day information is posted below by campus area, but our general move-in dates for students who are moving into housing at the Storrs and Stamford campuses are as follows:
- All incoming freshmen students to the Storrs Campus will be able to move in on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 8:00am - 4:00pm.
- All campus change, transfers, and continuing students to the Storrs Campus will be able to move in between Saturday, August 27 and Sunday August 28, 2022 from 9:00am - 3:00pm each day.
Storrs students will sign up for a move in time slot through their MyHousing Page.
When You Arrive On Campus
- Follow specific traffic directions on the website. Please do not use GPS. Due to traffic restrictions and staged check in areas of campus, it is important to follow your specific area instructions. All campus areas are listed below and have specific directions and check in plans.
- Proceed to the check-in site for your hall or area and date/time of arrival. Reminder - students can only bring one car to campus for move in!
- Please wear a mask when participating in any of the steps of move in.
- Bring your UConn ID or photo ID and your student ID number (PeopleSoft number) with you. Residential Life will need this information to distribute keys and other check-in materials.

Check-in Information by Area
Below are more specific details about what you can expect when arriving on campus during your selected check in time between August 26-28. Depending on your assignment, you may follow a different process than residents in other locations. Please use the information below to help guide you on where you will need to go when you arrive to campus and where your key pick up location will be. Staff members will be available across campus to assist you with this process, but we rely on all students to go through these steps in order and to arrive on-campus at the time they signed up for in MyHousing.
