Check In Dates and Times for Husky Village
There are many possible paths to get to campus. However, during move-in, thousands of vehicles are attempting to get to campus, and many roads on campus are one-way or blocked to help with traffic flow. We have mapped out the best path for you to take for each of our Staging Areas (where you will check in) and then go to your assigned residential areas (where you will move into); this is a different set of directions than those that you have used to visit campus on prior occasions. Please disregard your GPS and take these routes instead whenever possible. Taking the routes that are mapped to specific areas of campus will alleviate vehicle congestion and get you to your destination sooner.
Please proceed to the staging lot in W Lot first to receive an unloading pass. No vehicles will be permitted to enter the unloading zone without going through the staging lot first.
Please keep in mind that: W-lot is next to the UConn sign and is labeled on Maps, please follow signage and enter the unloading zone without going through the staging lot first.

Stage 2: Moving Into Your Residence Hall
Getting to Husky Village
REMINDER: YOU CAN’T GET TO YOUR HALL WITHOUT GOING TO STAGING LOT FIRST
Once you receive your keys and go to your designated area to unload your belongs, you will have 15 minutes to unload your car and move it to the appropriate parking area. We ask that at least one person stays with your car while the student brings their belongings to their room. After unloading, you will park in your car in the designated garage or parking area, and then be able to return and set up your space for as long as needed. Thank you for making move-in effortless and fun for everyone!
