Sprague, Whitney, Holcomb, Grange, and Hicks Halls
As part of the East community, you are about to embark on a journey we hope you find to be unique and rewarding. Holcomb hall has a study lounge with a big living room, a fireplace and a grand piano. It has a lot of real wood and old-world style — far more charming than modern residence halls. Most students find this to be the quietest of all the residential areas on campus and really enjoying living in East!
East Campus Residence Halls comprise two building clusters, with three facilities on the south end – Holcomb, Whitney, and Sprague Halls – and two more on the north end of campus – Grange and Hicks Halls.
Hicks and Grange Hall are primarily a Freshman and Sophomore area on-campus. These areas are designed to help students adjust to college life and transition to community style living. Students will be assigned to these areas with other freshmen students as roommates, or with 2nd year students as roommates who are familiar with these areas and can serve as resources and mentors.
There are 14 Resident Assistants (RAs) led by 1 Residence Hall Director.
