Welcome to South Campus
South Campus is comprised of Rome Commons and 3 residential buildings with suite-style rooms. A typical 4-person suite contains 2 bedrooms, a common room, and a bathroom. Rome Commons contains one of UConn’s premiere dining facilities, as well as a ballroom, game room, community room, and mailboxes. Rome Commons also has various study tables and a community room with vending machines and whiteboards. The Student Health and Wellness Health Promotion office is also conveniently located in Wilson hall.
South residents are academically focused and mostly juniors and seniors. South campus is home to two Learning and Special Interest Communities: the Honors community (in Snow) and the Veterans Community in Rosebrooks. Students enjoy living in South Campus for the picturesque campus views, close proximity to Storrs Center, and easy access to the center of campus.
There are 14 Resident Assistants (RAs) in South Campus who are led by 1 Residence Hall Director (HD).
